Impact of FASADA 2024/
The fourth edition of the FASADA Festival transformed the neglected Bistrik neighborhood, located in the heart of Sarajevo's Old Town. Featuring nine murals, this open-air gallery added vibrant new colors to the urban landscape.
Dedicated to showcasing a wide range of painting styles and techniques, FASADA 2024 brought together artists from Uruguay, Peru, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. From abstract painting and stylized illustration to contemporary realism, this edition offers a compelling snapshot of some of the most prominent trends in mural art today. In addition to murals, the artistic program of FASADA 2024 presented an exhibition titled “Addendum” in Gallery Manifesto featuring French artists KogaOne, Croatian artist MOSK, and BiH artists Mide, as well as the biggest graffiti jam so far with more than 40 writers from across Europe. Furthermore, it offered a workshop, movie screening, and series of artists talks.
